Our Adult Classes are designed to help you get connected with God and with our church family at Central Assembly.

Truths for Life – 101 Class

The purpose of this class is to teach ‘new believers’ the foundational beliefs of the Bible. It is also a class to help membership candidates understand the doctrines that the Assemblies of God teaches, and to help individuals mature in their faith. This class is also a refresher course for experienced believers. The teacher of this class is Sam Barela.

Vital Pursuits – 201 Class

The purpose of this class is to help believers attain a deeper understanding of the bible while building a Christian community. The teacher of this class is Julie Broyles.

Back to the Future- 301 Class

The purpose of this class is to explain the journey of the church through time. In the first quarter we study about the church’s beginning with the day of Pentecost, and how it advanced on and ending with the beginning of the Reformation in 1517. In the second quarter the study of the church’s journey starts at the Reformation and forges ahead to Azusa Street and the formation of the new Pentecostal movement. The teacher of this class is Tom Terry.

Quarterly Class

The purpose of this class is to help individuals see the big picture of what the Bible is all about. The first unit focuses on the message in the Old Testament. The second unit focuses on the New Testament. The lessons will focus on Christ and Christian living. The teachers of this class are James Houston and Inez Sartain.
