Pastor Terry and Brenda Engler

Pastor Terry and Brenda are natives of Kansas, and have pastored 5 previous congregations in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Brenda serves as the Leader of the Ladies in Touch Women's Ministry. They came to Central Assembly in May 2011, and are very much enjoying the City of Indepencence and surrounding area! They are parents of three daughters, who all currently live in Wichita, KS, and have 7 grandchildren. They are excited about the future, and all that God is going to do through the ministry of Central Assembly!

Glenn and Julie Broyles

Glenn and Julie have lived in Independence for 48 years, and have attended Central for the last 40 of those years! Glenn serves on the Board of Deacons. Julie teaches an Adult Sunday School Class, and also is active in the Ladies in Touch Women's Ministry. They have a son and daughter, who are both married and also live in Independence. They also have three grandchildren. They love the family atmosphere that Central provides, and look forward to seeing what God has in store!

Dorman and Anita Schofield

Dorman and Anita have attented Central since 1980. Dorman serves on the Board of Deacons. Anita is active in the Ladies In Touch Women's Ministry. They have two children, a daughter who lives in Kansas City North, and a son who lives in Euless, TX. They also have three grandchildren. They are excited about God's direction for the families of Central A/G!

Sam and Marie Barela

Sam and Marie have lived in Missouri for the majority of their lives! They first came to Central A/G in 1997, and they have made Central their home Church. Sam serves on the board of Deacons, teaches and Adult Sunday School Class, and also plays the drums for the Worship Team. Marie is active in Children's Ministry, as well as in the Sunday School. They have 5 children, and 15 grandchildren. They are excited about being a part of Central Assembly, and believe that God has big plans for their lives here!

Mike and Deanna Sartain

Mike and Deanna are both natives of the Kansas City, Missouri metropolitan area. Mike grew up attending Central Assembly in the early years of the church, and Deanna began attending in 1977. They moved to Parkville, Mo in June, 1994, but have always made Central Assembly their home. Mike and Deanna have 2 children and 5 grandchildren. Deanna currently serves on the Board of Deacons, is active in the Ladies In Touch Women's Ministry, and Mike is the Teacher of the Senior High Sunday School Class. They are both very excited to see what God has planned for the future of Central Assembly!
